Sir Tim Berners Lee  gave the world the world wide web, without which the Saddlechariot would never have existed. The Web is free open space where ideas can circulate, something the British Horse Establishment hate. The British Horse Establishment have put a lot of effort into sending me to Coventry, but unfortunately for them, the Web allows me to bypass their Old Boys Network with a rather more modern and much more egalitarian one. Thank you Sir Tim, not only for the idea, but for opening communicatrions to all, globally.

The next bunch to thank are going to argue madly about whichever order I choose. Monty Roberts , because I heard of him first, Gary Witheford and Nicky because I learned so much there,Pat Parelli , Kayce Cover and Alexandra Kurland because I think they are on the right track though going in different directions, Chris Cook, one hell of a horseman, Joe, another great horseman, but they all share one characteristic. They do things because they work, because they are practical, not because that's the way people like us do it. This is working class horsemanship.

Although I am no engineer, just an inventor, I have had unstinting help and advice from Engineers throughout the 8 years of this project. Lancaster University Engineering department have been invaluable, and are working now on the wheelchair version of the Saddlechariot. Camelion Metal works. Tony, Steve, Dave, Nick and all the guys have produced precision engineering and good ideas. Steve Brown at Jetline Cutting works miracles with liquid laser, Starco, Clamcleats and endless others have helped and advised. It has been one of the nicest discoveries, that the world of engineering sees solving problems as fun, and willingly throw themselves into any project however mad.

The Country Land and Business Association . Surprisingly unstuffy, business oriented and helpful. I suppose the countryside couldn't have existed without such an organisation so if like me you have a rural business, and problems, and who doesn't, try the CLA. Stuffed full of people with answers.

And there is a really nice piece in their North West regional magazine

Against this background of help and teamwork, the British Horse Establishment produce a total contrast. Narrow minded, vindictive and petty, they have done everything in their power to make my life miserable, and since they are about as establishment as you can get, that is quite a lot of power and they have produced some serious misery. I will not forget and I will not forgive.
